The Mission

To Provide a Digital Museum For Collectors To Explore

Trading cards are living artifacts—each one a snapshot of art, culture, and history.  PCE is here to document as much of that history as possible, from the dawn of the modern promo card circa 1988 through present day.

To Connect Collectors With The Industry

The goal of PCE is to provide collectors with a FREE resource to research cards and to connect with those who create them and sell them, from publishers to sellers and the artists who illustrate them.

Search Or Browse Through Thousands and Thousands of Cards

Enjoy over 50,000 images of trading cards from nearly all genres and topics, from movies and television, to comic books and video games, or maybe things you had no idea existed.

The database is the culmination of decades of promotional-type trading cards starting from 1988. Each entry is represented with images of both sides (when available) and accompanied by information about the card, including the manner of the distribution as well as its level of rarity.

Whether you’re looking for information on something specific, collecting certain subject or movie franchise, or you just like seeing something different and deciding you want to search for one out in the marketplace, Promo Card Encyclopedia is the digital museum you need to help start your quest.
